Description
The Innovation Skills Programme (ISP) is a Programme for Professional Development which is practical, participative, personalised and results-oriented. It is primarily focused on training a pilot group of 90 people, each with a different professional profile in the organisation (Directors, Managers, Heads of Department, Technical staff and Instructors) in the knowledge and abilities necessary to turn innovation into a “habit” in their daily activities, adding value to exchanges with both internal and external clients.
Following the model of “Learning by Doing”, the ISP is made up of 7 seminars based on know-how relative to Methodologies and Techniques for Innovation and Tools to Support the Innovation System. There are also 27 Reflection Sessions related to the Business Model within each Unit, between related Units and between Industrial and/or Service Units. Additionally, there are 55 sessions dedicated to the Development of Innovation Abilities which work on the real-life “Challenges” in these Units arising from the Reflection Sessions.
The programme was put together by the Management Unit, based on the Innovation Profile (Leader in Innovation, Innovative Management and Promoters of Innovation) associated with each of the professional levels taking part. It ran between September 2010 and July 2011, with an average of 100 hours dedicated to each profile.
To date, the ISP has meant that a Community of 90 people have taken part in activities linked to innovation and to the key abilities necessary for innovation in our day-to-day activities. What is more, each Management Unit now has its own Innovation Agenda with its corresponding Route Map, which has led to real-life, relevant innovation projects being pinpointed by the Innovation Agenda in each Unit over the running of the ISP. We have also come up with over 30 new ideas for possible business opportunities for Lantegi Batuak which have been stored in our Ideas Bank for analysis, as well as over 20 new Services for the current Management Units.
